All consulting projects follow the 5 Step Vested Outsourcing Implementation Model and integrate the University of Tennessee’s Just-Time-Workshops with hands on consulting and coaching that our certified resources match to your needs.
Integrated Consulting/Coaching Program
The University of Tennessee’s Vested Outsourcing Integrated Consulting/Coaching Program teams a University of Tennessee Faculty members with industry leading consulting firms that have been certified in Vested Outsourcing implementations. The program provides on site workshops in conjunction with select consulting firms with a track record in successful outsourcing. This program works much in the way a Six Sigma or Lean Black Belt provides support to a team going through a Six Sigma or Lean project. All designated industry resource firms provide guidance and direction to help your company achieve a Vested Outsourcing deal.
Under the program, industry resources bring a unique blend of consulting, practitioner and general management experience to the firms they work with. A typical project will follow the Vested Outsourcing Implementation Model, and will be customized based on your specific outsourcing project. All consulting projects include 10 days of Just-In-Time hands-on workshops using the official University of Tennessee Vested Outsourcing materials and tools. The workshops are timed according to your project – providing just-in-time learning while the team is going through the process. A typical engagement ranges from half-time coaching support for smaller deals to up to three consulting resources for large, complex deals where our industry resources are working and creating some of the Vested Outsourcing deliverables in conjunction with the team.
A key component of the Integrated Coaching/Consulting Program is the value of the extensive toolset the industry coaches and consultants bring to help your team. Participation in the program will give your team access to our library of proven tools, thereby eliminating the need for your team to reinvent the wheel for your project. Industry coaches and consultants leave behind a complete set of tools that you can use over and over for all of your outsourcing needs.
